What is a balcony on/off-grid solar power system?
1. PV panels charge battery
When there is sunlight during the day and the battery pack is not fully charged, the solar panels charge the battery through the JV2KP.
2. PV grid-tied
When there is sunlight during the day and the battery is fully charged, the solar panels connect to the grid through the JV2KP and enter generation mode.
3. Battery grid-tied
At night, the stored battery power is fed into the grid via the JV2KP in generation mode, with grid-tied power adjustable through the app.
4. Grid charging
At night, the grid charges the low battery via the JV2KP when prices are low, switching to generation mode when prices rise.
5. PV and grid charging
When urgently needed as a backup power source and the battery is low, the battery is charged using both solar panels and the grid.
6. Used as UPS
To ensure power for critical loads, the system can be used as a UPS. It can also be configured for grid-tied or charging modes based on the scenario.
7. As a backup power source
During a power outage, the battery pack supplies AC power to essential equipment via the JV2KP.
